Chicagoland Shorts is Full Spectrum Features' annual filmmaker showcase that celebrates the vastness and artistic innovation of the Windy City’s filmmaking community. The series celebrates fresh storytellers that use the power of short form cinema to tell compelling stories that open minds, unpack the deeply personal, and strengthen communities.

Chicagoland Shorts Vol. 8 presents seven films that examine what it means to exist outside the box, be at odds with societal norms, and yearn for connection. Featured filmmakers use techniques and styles across genres, ranging from documentary to experimental fashion film, to investigate unique pathways of resilience.
